Romantic headcanon for Hiccup:
Hiccup has read what passes for a romance novel in ye olde viking times growing up. He absolutely did it in an attempt to woo Astrid, but not only did it not work (he was just waaaayyy too awkward to even try), he also ended up learning things he was not yet ready to learn. (I’m thinking of the very questionable sketches Bork supposedly had in his “Night Fury book” that were most likely drawn by Mildew)
In the end, when he’s older he’s just a bit of a natural in the romance department, even if he sometimes needs to be dragged away from his projects, his dragons, or his duties.
Romantic headcanon for Ruffnut:
Ruffnut adores being wooed. She doesn’t show it much, she acts like she doesn’t care, but she loves all that romantic stuff. The big romantic gestures, the gifts, the cuddling, a wedding (whether big and fancy or small and cozy), she loves it when they happen to her.
She instantly took to having Fishlegs as her husband, even if that didn’t last. And she complained about having heard of two men fighting over a single woman, but never having seen it happen herself… She would love it if all those romantic things happened to her.
If you use Google Docs for your writing, I highly encourage you to download your work, delete it from Google Docs, and transfer it to a different program/site, unless you want AI to start leeching off your hard work!!!
I personally have switched to Libre Office, but there are many different options. I recommend checking out r/degoogle for options.

I don’t use Docs very much at all, but this looks like a good moment to take a sweep through my account and delete anything that’s in there.
I remember when Blindsided came out, seeing a complaint about Sleuther being aggressive.
You know, like, this isn’t an animal that wasn’t heavily traumatized from being in captivity and forced to fight others. Like, being freed immediately made all his pain go away.
Your complaint is dismissive and rude to trauma survivors/victims.
I don’t usually say things like this, but this fandom is so bad at dealing with trauma survivors/victims. A great deal of people want them to be palatable. We are not palatable and should receive support anyway.
